奈良の柿の葉寿司
Nara is famous for Kakinohazushi.
kakinoha=a leaf of persimmon trees
zushi=sushi
As you see in the picture, each piece of sushi is wrapped with a persimmon leaf. The leaf is not edible, but it adds nice aroma as well as it prevents food from going bad easily.
